Terms of Service
Effective from 20th May 2026
These Terms apply to any adoptable design ("adopt") or commissioned artwork purchased from me, Dragonponyy, from the effective date onward.
By commissioning or purchasing from me, you agree to the following conditions:1. General TermsThese Terms are non-negotiable and are intended to protect both artist and client.
I reserve the right to decline any adopt or commission request without giving a reason.2. Payments and RefundsPayment will be made via Paypal invoice after a rough sketch, exception to this are artistic liberty commissions as those require payment before the clmmission is started. All payments are final once made. No refunds will be issued for adoptables or commissions after payment.
If I am unable to complete your commission, a full refund will be provided within 14 days.
Commissions may take up to 8 weeks to complete. If a commission exceeds 8 weeks:
If not started, a full refund may be requested.
If already started, a partial refund may be offered.
If one accepts a refund or partial refund the commission will no longer be continued.3. Deadlines & Rush OrdersIf your commission has a deadline, please inform me before payment.
A rush fee (up to 20 €) may apply depending on my queue and availability.4. Work Process & CommunicationI will send regular Work-in-Progress (WIP) updates during the process unless requested otherwise.
If you do not respond within 48 hours, the expected delivery timeframe will be extended.
If no response is received within 7 days without prior notice, the commission will be canceled without a refund.
Once a WIP or final piece is approved, no further changes will be made.5. Copyright & Usage RightsAll artworks remain copyrighted by me, Dragonponyy, unless agreed otherwise.
Finished commissions may be posted publicly, unless explicitly requested otherwise.
All commissions will be tracked via Trello.
Altering, editing, or reselling my artworks is strictly prohibited.
Watermarks will only be removed upon request and for an additional fee of 50 €.
You may redesign or alter purchased designs (adopts) in new original artworks, but not my original drawings.6. NSFW PolicyNSFW content is only accepted for furry and anthropomorphic characters.
You must be 18 years or older to request NSFW content.
If I suspect you are a minor, I reserve the right to:
-Refuse the commission
-Or request proof of age (ID check without saving personal data).
(I will never store ID data – only check it temporarily.)7. Legal InformationGoverning Law
These terms are governed by German law. Disputes will be settled under the jurisdiction of German civil courts.Right of Withdrawal
By purchasing a digital service, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal.
However, if you want me to start before that period ends, you must explicitly agree to waive this right.
Example clause to be sent before starting:
"I agree that you may begin the commission before the withdrawal period ends. I understand that I lose my right to withdraw once the service has been fully provided."Summary for Clients – Key PointsCancellations after payment are generally not allowed, unless I haven't started your commission yet. See Section 2 for details.
If your commission is delayed for more than 8 weeks, you may request a partial or full refund, depending on how much work has been completed.
If you do not respond to work-in-progress updates within the specified time, the deadline may be extended, or the commission may be canceled without a refund.
NSFW commissions are accepted only if you are 18 years or older and I explicitly agree to the content.
If you want me to start your commission immediately, you must explicitly confirm the statement from Section 7 regarding the waiver of your withdrawal right.Side note: Dragonponyys' Watermark changed on the 1st January 2026
